Public Foundations to subscribe to installments or cash payments with discounts provided for in Law ,/ ends on December st. In accordance with article of this law, which was regulated by Ordinance , of the Attorney General's Office and by Ordinance ,/, of the Federal Attorney General's Office (PGF), debts may be paid in up to months in installments. In addition to debts administered by local authorities, the installment plan also includes debts of any nature — tax or otherwise — with the PGF.
Installment payments include debts whether or not registered as active debt, or which are in the tax execution phase. Also according to law, debts due up to November , may be paid or split in installments.
Until June , , any citizen or entity that owed a debt to an Austria Phone Numbers List authority or Federal Public Foundation would have two options: pay the debt in full immediately or request an installment payment. Faced with both options, there was always an initial demand: "If I pay in cash, am I entitled to a discount, reduction of a fine, etc.?" The answer was always negative.
According to the Federal Attorney General's Office, it is not just about installments. The new legislation also brought the possibility of paying the debt in cash in an easier way. Legal discounts can reach up to % of late payment and official fines, % of isolated fines, % of late payment interest and % of the value of the legal charge.
The PGF highlighted, however, that the deadline for completing the negotiation is December st, and should not be extended. Other forms of negotiating credits from local authorities and foundations are judicial and extrajudicial installments, also provided for in ordinances from the Federal Attorney General's Office. Regarding these installments, the General Coordination of Collection and Recovery of Credits of the PGF has already issued a booklet to better instruct debtors on how the installments should be made.
